Webster Business Leader Joel Shoemaker Named to AGC of South Dakota Leadership Council

Webster business leader Joel Shoemaker has been appointed to the leadership council of the AGC of South Dakota, as announced by Northeast Radio SD.

Northeast Radio SD News - Webster, SD - Local industry leader Joel Shoemaker, representing Webster Scale, has been named to the 2026 Horizontal Council for the Associated General Contractors (AGC) of South Dakota.

The announcement was made during a formal recognition banquet at the AGC’s annual State Convention held at The Canopy in Sioux Falls on February 23. Shoemaker was among a select group of professionals elected by the Board of Directors and Membership to lead the state’s most influential construction trade association for the coming year.

Local Representation on a Statewide Stage

As a member of the Horizontal Council, Shoemaker will represent the interests of heavy, highway, and utility construction sectors. His role involves shaping the AGC’s advocacy efforts, promoting industry safety, and fostering cooperation between contractors and public agencies across South Dakota.
