Northeast Radio SD News - Wilmot, SD - Wilmot School announced that it has received community support for a new outdoor learning classroom, with a $2,000 Community Impact Grant from POET Bioprocessing — Big Stone and an additional donation from Valley Queen to help fund the project.
POET representatives presented a ceremonial check for $2,000 to Wilmot School on September 17, marking the company’s contribution to the hands-on outdoor learning space planned just outside the school’s classrooms. Valley Queen also made a donation in support of the project; school officials say both gifts will be used to build a fun, educational area where students can explore nature-based lessons and experiential activities.

Wilmot School expressed its appreciation in a social media post, thanking POET for the Community Impact Grant and Valley Queen for their donation and noting the impact the funds will have on the outdoor classroom project. The school invited the community to follow the Wilmot JAG Facebook page for progress updates and photos as the project moves forward.
