April Enplanements Up 14% at Watertown Regional Airport

Northeast Radio SD News – Watertown, SD - Air travel through Watertown Regional Airport continued to climb in April, with the city reporting 1,028 enplanements, a 14% increase over the same month in FY25, according to the Public Works Department.


Of those passengers, 437 traveled through Minneapolis and 591 through Denver. The city notes this reflects a 7% increase for the Minneapolis route compared to last year’s Chicago service, and a 17% increase for the Denver route year‑over‑year.


City officials thanked residents for their continued support of the airport and encouraged travelers to share feedback or reach out with questions by phone or through the city’s social media channels.
