Award-Winning Filmmaker Andrew Kightlinger to Host Special Screening in Watertown

Northeast Radio SD News – Watertown, SD - Local film enthusiasts and aspiring creators have a rare opportunity to go behind the lens this month. South Dakota’s own award-winning writer and director, Andrew Kightlinger, is returning to his roots for a special screening of his film Lost on a Mountain in Maine at the Odyssey 8 Theater on Monday, March 30.
The evening promises more than just a movie; it offers a deep dive into the mechanics of modern filmmaking. Following the screening, Kightlinger will take the stage for an interactive Q&A Session, sharing personal stories about his career path, his creative process, and what it takes to navigate the competitive film industry.
A Homecoming for Storytelling
Kightlinger has garnered national acclaim for his distinct visual style and his ability to translate grit and human resilience onto the screen. Lost on a Mountain in Maine has reached a wide audience, cementing his reputation as a filmmaker capable of bringing intense, real-world narratives to life.
