Northeast Radio SD News – Watertown, SD - Codington County Commissioners wrapped up Tuesday’s meeting with confirmation that next week’s regular meeting will be moved due to election‑related requirements.
Next Week’s Meeting Moved to July 30
Vice‑Chair Tyler McElhaney reminded commissioners and the public that the board will not meet next Tuesday, as originally scheduled.
The meeting is officially moved to Thursday, July 30, to accommodate statutory publication timelines and canvassing requirements for the July 28 primary runoff election.
Auditor Brenda Hanten clarified that the tax deed sale previously discussed will not occur on July 30. Instead, it will be held on August 4, consistent with published notices.
“Next Tuesday, the meeting will be moved to Thursday the 30th,” McElhaney said.
“And the tax deed sale will be on August 4th… that’s how it was publicized,” Hanten added.
