Codington County Voters Urged to Check Registration Before July 13 Deadline for July 28 Primary Runoff Election

Northeast Radio SD News – Watertown, SD - Codington County Auditor Brenda Hanten is urging residents to check their voter registration status ahead of the upcoming Primary Runoff Election on Tuesday, July 28, 2026.


According to information provided by the Auditor’s Office, Monday, July 13, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. is the final day for voters to register or update their information. The office encourages residents to stop in and verify that their registration details are current before the deadline.


A voter information notice shared by the Auditor’s Office emphasizes two key questions for residents: “Are you registered to vote?” and “Is your information up to date?” The PSA encourages individuals to “check in at the Auditor’s Office today.”
