Northeast Radio SD News – Watertown, SD - The Watertown Shamrocks have announced two major leadership promotions within the organization. Anne Hanson has been elevated to Team President, filling the role vacated by outgoing president Ryan Bisgard. At the same time, Blake Theisen has been promoted to Vice President in addition to his current duties.

Hanson, a Watertown native, has been with the Shamrocks since their inaugural season and previously served as Executive Vice President. She said stepping into the top leadership role carries special meaning.

As a Watertown native who has been a part of this team from the beginning, this opportunity carries special meaning for me personally,” Hanson said. “The Shamrocks have become an integral part of our community. I’m grateful for the trust placed in me, and I look forward to continuing to build on the strong foundation we’ve created together.

Shamrocks Chairman Vince Foley said Hanson was the clear choice to lead the organization moving forward.

Anne was the natural choice to elevate to President,” Foley said. “She is embedded in our community and represents our organization on an exemplary level. We’re looking forward to continued success under her leadership.

Outgoing president Ryan Bisgard also praised Hanson’s appointment, calling her an “unsung hero” of the front office and game‑day operations.

Alongside Hanson’s promotion, the Shamrocks have elevated Director of Broadcasting and Media Blake Theisen to Vice President. Theisen joined the organization in October 2024 and has served as the Voice of the Shamrocks for the past two seasons.

I’m super excited to continue with the Shamrocks and to accept the position of Vice President,” Theisen said. “The growth over the last two years has been incredible, and I’m looking forward to taking on more responsibilities and working alongside Anne.

Theisen will continue in his broadcasting role while adding expanded administrative and business duties.

Hanson said Theisen’s promotion reflects his professionalism and daily commitment to the organization.

I’ve seen firsthand the work ethic, professionalism, and passion he brings every day,” Hanson said. “His experience and leadership will help our organization continue to improve.

The organizational changes take effect on June 1.
