SUV Crashes Into Johnson Chiropractic on 10th Avenue SE in Watertown, Driver Not Hospitalized

Northeast Radio SD News – Watertown, SD - Emergency crews responded Friday afternoon after a midsize SUV crashed into Johnson Chiropractic at 1101 10th Avenue SE, sending the vehicle approximately 15 feet inside the building, according to Watertown Fire Rescue.
Dispatch indicated the initial call came in shortly before 2 p.m. for a vehicle‑versus‑building incident. Multiple Watertown Police units and Watertown Fire Rescue crews were sent to the scene.

Upon arrival, firefighters found the SUV well inside the business. According to the media release, damage was limited to non‑structural components, and crews shut off power to affected areas, established a safe working zone, and removed debris and loose brick from the building.
“Crews found a midsize SUV approximately 15 feet inside the business,” the release stated. “Firefighters assessed the building and determined that the damage was limited to non‑structural components.”
WFR paramedics evaluated the driver, who was not transported by ambulance, and no other injuries were reported.

Fire crews remained on scene until a local towing company removed the vehicle from the building. Watertown Police assisted at the scene.
