Watertown Baseball vs. Sioux Falls Lincoln: Arrows Chase Class A State Tournament Berth

Northeast Radio SD News – Watertown, SD - The road to the Class A High School State Tournament runs through Watertown Stadium this weekend. The No. 8 seed Watertown Arrows are set to host the No. 9 seed Sioux Falls Lincoln Patriots in a high-stakes Super Regional series, with a trip to the state championships on the line.
The Arrows (11-7) enter the postseason looking for redemption. The matchup serves as a rematch of an April 11 thriller where the Patriots narrowly defeated Watertown in a 12-11 offensive slugfest. With the season now on the line, Watertown will look to leverage home-field advantage to reverse that result and punch their ticket to the next round.
Series Schedule
The best-of-three series kicks off Friday night at Watertown Stadium:
· Game 1: Friday, 6:00 p.m.
· Game 2: Saturday, 12:00 p.m.
· Game 3 (if necessary): Saturday, 2:30 p.m.
Fans unable to attend the games in person can catch the action live. All games in the series will be broadcast on Post 17 TV on YouTube.
The Road to State
The winner of this weekend’s clash will move on to the Class A State Tournament, scheduled for May 22–23. The final tournament will be held at Augustana University’s Ronken Field in Sioux Falls, where the top teams in the state will compete for the championship title.
