Watertown Home Builders Association to Host Kickoff Event for 2026 Golf Scramble

Northeast Radio SD News – Watertown, SD - The Watertown Area Home Builders Association (WAHBA) is inviting the community and industry professionals to swing into the 2026 season with a special kickoff event on Tuesday, April 14. The event, hosted at Glacial Lakes Powersports + Golf, serves as the official launch for the organization’s highly anticipated summer tournament.

Kickoff Event Details

From 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., attendees can visit the facility at 1604 9th Ave SW for an evening of networking and entertainment. Highlights of the kickoff include:

·         Free Simulator Play: Get an early start on your golf game with complimentary access to high-tech golf simulators.

·         Complimentary Food & Drink: Winsupply of Watertown will provide food for the evening, while Meyer Insurance is sponsoring the beverages.

·         Industry Networking: A prime opportunity for local builders, contractors, and associate members to connect before the busy construction season begins.

Looking Ahead: The July Scramble

The main event, the Home Builder Scramble, is officially scheduled for Friday, July 17, 2026, at the Prairie Winds Golf Club. Sponsored by Mayfield Truss, LLC, the annual scramble is one of WAHBA's premier fundraisers, historically supporting local initiatives such as Lake Area Technical College scholarships and community building projects.

Those who register their teams during the April 14 kickoff will receive an added bonus: an entry into a $100 cash drawing to be held during the tournament in July.
