Northeast Radio SD News – Watertown, SD - A longtime Watertown Hy‑Vee employee received a major honor this morning as the company unveiled a semi‑trailer featuring her photo in recognition of more than four decades of service.

At 10 a.m. Monday, Hy‑Vee leadership gathered outside the Watertown store at 1390 9th Avenue SE to present Sandy Pedersen, seafood service and meat manager, with a full‑size truck wrap displaying her image. Pedersen has worked for Hy‑Vee for over 40 years.

The unveiling is part of a tradition Hy‑Vee began in 1997, celebrating long‑serving employees by featuring them on the company’s semi‑trailers. The wraps travel across the Midwest, highlighting individuals who have made lasting contributions to the organization.

Hy‑Vee, Inc. operates more than 540 business units across nine Midwestern states and employs more than 70,000 people. The company was recently named one of the top grocery stores in America by USA TODAY.
