Watertown Regional Airport to Host Flights, Kites & Bites Family Event August 29

Northeast Radio SD News – Watertown, SD - The Watertown Regional Airport will host its annual Flights, Kites & Bites celebration on Saturday, August 29, offering families a full day of aviation‑themed activities, food, and entertainment at 550 Airport Drive.

The event runs from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and is open to the public.

This year’s event is held in partnership with Lake Area Technical College (LATC), which will again provide free airplane rides for children. Organizers say the rides are offered on a first‑come, first‑served basis and remain one of the most popular attractions each year.
