Watertown Sweeps Triangular With Wins Over Harrisburg Gold and Sioux Falls West

Northeast Radio SD News – Watertown, SD - A six‑run fifth inning broke the game open as Watertown rolled past Harrisburg Gold in the opener. Cain Everson jump‑started the rally with a two‑run single, and Jaxon Falak followed with a two‑run double to extend the lead.


Cole Hanson led the Arrows’ offense, going 2‑for‑3 with three RBIs. Falak, Everson, Maxx Sears, Sam Olson, Jonathan Lake, and Markus Pitkin each added a hit.


Jackson McClemans turned in a strong complete‑game performance, allowing just one run on six hits while striking out six over six innings.


Harrisburg’s lone run came in the first inning on an RBI single from Griffin Schlapkohl. Jaxon Roesler finished 2‑for‑3 to pace their offense. Andrew Dierks took the loss, giving up three runs on five hits in three innings.

Watertown 6, Sioux Falls West 5

Watertown held off a late push from Sioux Falls West to secure the sweep in the nightcap. West trimmed the deficit to one in the seventh on an RBI single by Mantel Jensen and moved the tying run into scoring position, but a flyout to right field ended the game.


Everson, Kye Paulson, McClemans, Pitkin, and Hanson each recorded a hit for Watertown, with Hanson driving in two runs. Kooper Heiser earned the win in relief, allowing two runs on four hits over 2 2/3 innings. Hunter Halajian started and worked 1 1/3 innings, giving up two runs, while Pitkin closed the final three innings to earn the save.
