WHS Announces 2025 Homecoming Royalty Candidates

Northeast Radio SD News - Watertown, SD - Watertown High School has announced its 2025 Homecoming royalty candidates, selected by their peers for their involvement and leadership across a wide range of school activities.


This year’s candidates are: Jonas Geier, Sarah Li, Silas Masar, Siri Bach, Tysen Canfield, Markus Pitkin, Patrick Bednarczyk, Malia Kranz, Cole Hansen, Whitney Martinsen, and Luka Lessin.

These students are known for their participation in various activities, including football, soccer, theater, band, choir, basketball, debate, orchestra, wrestling, track, volleyball, and student government.


Arrow Day Parade Route – Friday, September 26 at 2:00 PM. 

Trying to figure out where to stand? Here’s the path:


·        Start at the WHS parking lot

·        Head west on Arrow Avenue

·        Turn south on 6th Street

·        Go west on Kemp Avenue

·        Turn south on 2nd Street

·        Finish east on 2nd Avenue

·        Parade ends at Grace Lutheran Church


Community members are encouraged to line the route and cheer on Arrows of all ages.

WHS Homecoming Dress-Up Days:


·        Monday: Character/Celebrity Day

·        Tuesday: Pajama/Comfy Clothes Day

·        Wednesday: Senior Citizen Day

·        Thursday: Jersey Day

·        Friday: Purple and Gold Day


Students, families, and fans are invited to show their school spirit throughout the week. Congratulations to this year’s royalty candidates, and best of luck to the Arrows throughout Homecoming Week.
