One Injured in Single‑Vehicle Rollover Crash Northwest of Watertown Friday Night

Northeast Radio SD News – Watertown, SD - One person was injured Friday night after a single‑vehicle rollover crash at the intersection of 455th Avenue and 164th Street, according to Watertown Fire Rescue.


Crews were dispatched around 8:00 p.m. on June 5 for a report of a rollover. Firefighters arrived to find a half‑ton pickup that had rolled into the west ditch and came to rest upright.

Watertown Fire Rescue responded with two ambulances and one engine. One patient was treated at the scene and transported to Prairie Lakes Hospital with undisclosed injuries, the department said.


Personnel remained on scene for about 45 minutes.


Assisting agencies included the South Dakota Highway Patrol, the Codington County Sheriff’s Office, and Performance Towing.
