One Injured, Trapped in Rollover Crash Near Bryant

Northeast Radio SD News - Bryant, SD - A single-vehicle rollover crash on County Road 443 north of 191st Street in rural Bryant resulted in injuries and required emergency crews to free the driver on Saturday morning.


The incident was reported at approximately 5:53 a.m. on Saturday, November 8th, 2025, according to a release from the Hamlin County Sheriff’s Office.


Preliminary investigation indicates that the vehicle lost control due to slippery road conditions, left the roadway, entered the ditch, and rolled over. Several airbags deployed during the crash.


The driver was reported to be trapped inside the vehicle and injured in the incident. Personnel from the Bryant Fire Department, the Hamlin County Sheriff’s Office, and Lake Norden Ambulance were immediately dispatched to the scene.


The driver was successfully extricated and transported by Lake Norden Ambulance to Watertown Hospital for treatment of injuries.


Emergency crews remained on the scene for over an hour. BES Towing of Lake Norden was called to remove the damaged vehicle.


The Hamlin County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash.
