Northeast Radio SD News – Lake Norden, SD - A 55-year-old Lake Norden man died Saturday following a farming incident southwest of town. At approximately 11:28 a.m. on December 20, the Watertown Regional Dispatch Center received a 911 call reporting an unresponsive adult male. The individual had been discovered by a caller at a rural location about four miles southwest of Lake Norden, where he was found pinned by a tractor.

Northeast Radio SD News - Estelline, SD - Emergency crews from Estelline and the Hamlin County Sheriff’s Office responded to a single-vehicle accident on the evening of Monday, November 24, 2025, that resulted in no injuries.

Northeast Radio SD News – Lake Norden, SD - Two juveniles sustained no injuries following a single-vehicle crash late Saturday night in rural Hamlin County. On Saturday, November 22, 2025, at approximately 10:21 p.m., the Hamlin County Sheriff’s Office responded to a crash site on 194th Street, about a quarter-mile east of 447th Street, near Lake Norden. The Lake Norden Fire Department and Lake Norden Ambulance were also dispatched to the scene.
