Temporary Closure of 14th Avenue N Scheduled for Rail Crossing Repairs

Northeast Radio SD News - Watertown, SD - The City of Watertown Street Division will close 14th Avenue North to through traffic beginning at 6:00 AM on Monday, September 22, 2025, to perform roadway repairs at the rail crossing. The work is expected to be completed by the end of the day Tuesday, September 23, weather permitting.


During the closure, detours will be in place for motorists and truck traffic, with drivers directed to use 10th Avenue North. Residences and businesses along 14th Avenue will remain accessible throughout the project.


The City encourages drivers to plan and follow posted signage to ensure safe and efficient travel during the repair period.
