Two-Vehicle Crash Reported Near Watertown on SD Highway 20

Northeast Radio SD News – Watertown, SD - Emergency crews responded to a two-vehicle accident early Wednesday morning in the area of SD Hwy 20 and 448th Ave. The collision occurred at approximately 8:00 a.m. on June 24, 2026.


Watertown Fire Rescue quickly dispatched Engine 1 and Medic 4 to the location. Upon arrival, first responders evaluated multiple patients involved in the crash.

Incident Details and Response

·         Injuries: Medical personnel assessed multiple individuals for minor, non-life-threatening injuries. No patients required transport by ambulance.

·         Scene Cleanup: Crew members from Engine 1 assisted the on-site medics and worked to clear vehicular debris from the roadway to restore traffic flow.

·         Duration: Emergency crews remained on the scene for approximately 30 minutes to ensure the area was safe and fully cleared.
